Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your GIGACHAD account (the GIGACHAD mobile app, published by GIGACHAD LLC) and the personal data associated with it, what gets removed, and the limited records we are legally required to keep. If you have any trouble, email privacy@gigachadapp.com.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the GIGACHAD app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days (see "What gets deleted" below).
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email privacy@gigachadapp.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove, within 30 days:
- Your profile — email, display name, and onboarding responses
- Your workout history — sessions, sets, reps, and weights
- Your body metrics — weight, measurements, age, height, sex
- Your food diary entries and meal-plan choices
- Your progress photos, body-fat estimation photos, and form-check videos
- Your trainer messages and trainer pairing
- Your wearable connections (the stored OAuth tokens are deleted immediately the moment you disconnect a wearable)
What we keep, and for how long
A small set of records is retained only as long as the law requires, then deleted:
- Subscription and payment records — kept for 7 years to meet U.S. tax-record requirements, then deleted. Payments themselves are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see or store your card details.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics — events that are not linked to you personally may persist in aggregate and cannot be tied back to you.

Delete some data without closing your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. In the app you can delete individual progress photos, body-fat photos, and form-check videos; disconnect any wearable (which immediately deletes the stored tokens); and edit or clear your onboarding answers from Profile → Settings. To request removal of specific data, email privacy@gigachadapp.com.
